Codec Installation Packages
Most of the videos on this site utilize the Windows
Media Video 8 Codec. If you have trouble seeing the video, you
may want to download and install an updated video codec (COmpression/DECompression
plug-in) package. Choose the correct download for the version
of Windows Media Player currently installed on your computer.
Finding your Windows Media Player Version:
- Launch Windows Media Player from your Start
Menu
- Choose HELP from the menu, then choose ABOUT
WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER
- You should see your version number in a
screen similar to the following:

Note: If you do not have Windows Media
Player 9 Series installed and are unable to play content by using
the Windows Media Video 9 or Windows Media Audio 9 Voice codecs
from a Player embedded in a Web page, consider downloading the
codec installation package for Windows Media Player 6.4 as well.

It may be necessary to install the Video
Compression Manager to view these videos. If you still cannot
view the videos after installing the above packages, try installing
the following.
